DAY 01

NEGOMBO


Upon pick up at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be driven to the neighboring city of Negombo where your family tour in Sri Lanka will begin at. Depending on the time of the day in which you arrive, you may have time to go on a boat ride in the Muthurajawela Marsh.

DAY 02

SIGIRIYA


 Head off to Sigiriya and en route you have a chance to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and mingle with the elephants there. 


You will be taken to an Elephant Activity Place where you can Play, Feed, Wash and have some Elephant Showers with Sri Lankan Domestic Elephants

DAY 03

SIGIRIYA


Visit the World Unesco Listed Lion Rock,
Lion Rock in Sigiriya is one of the most popular landmarks to visit during a route through Sri Lanka. The natural phenomenon is an enormous (200m) square shaped rock that looks like it’s placed there. Lion Rock is one of the eight UNESCO World Heritage sights and is a must visit in Sri Lanka.

Prepare yourself for a little challenge and conquer the 1200+ steps to the top.This is an absolute must do in Sri Lanka! The climb is marked with good paths and stairs. The start at the terraces gardens gives you the most impressive perspective of the rock.

During your way up to a breather at Sigiriya Frescoes (old wall drawings), mirror wall and at the lion claws carved out of the rock which is right before the last climb.

Once arrived at the top of Lion Rock enjoy the incredible 360 degrees view over the whole area. Every corner has its own unique view. Try to spot some areas you have just visited.

DAY 04

KANDY


Enter the historic caves of the Golden Temple of Dambulla, dating back to the 1st century BC. View the ancient murals depicting the life story of Lord Gautama Buddha. Look at the hundreds of figurines of Buddha and other deities scattered throughout the five main caves. Visit the Cave of the Divine King, Cave of the Great King and the Great New Monastery. See the giant golden Buddha Statue just a little distance outside the cave complex.


Drive to Kandy enroute stop at a Spice Garden,

Experience Sri Lanka's renowed Spices inside a manmade forest with a free 10mins head massage.
Enriched with herbs, spice groves and plants with fragrant greenery shading from the tropical trees that enlightens the unique aroma of each spice and herb. DAY 05

NUWARA ELIYA


Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built in the 16th century as the place of veneration and protection for Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth. Walk through the beautifully embellished passageways and elaborately painted halls, done in red, cream and black. Lounge against delicately carved pillars and get amazed by the beautiful golden statues. Get an unforgettable experience of history and art.


Begin your journey to the beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya. En route, you stop for a visit at the lovely Ramboda Water Falls. 


Stop at a Tea Estate and experience the Tea Plucking then visit a Tea Factory to see how Pure Ceylon Tea are prepared with tasting various flavours of Ceylon Tea.

DAY 06

NUWARA ELIYA


Explore the stunning Horton Plains and the trail to the “World’s End” point visiting the Baker's Falls after a Hike at Horton Plains National Park


Visit the Gregory Lake and ride some wonderful Boat rides with visiting the Strawberry Farm

DAY 07

ELLA


The following morning we have a beautiful train journey lined up for you from Nanu Oya to the breathtaking town of Ella,

Your friendly guide will meet you at Ella Railway Station with your bags.


Upon reaching, you can visit the “Little Adams Peak” and the Rawana Water Falls. In Ella you also have the unique opportunity of taking part in a cookery class that teaches you how to make the authentic Sri Lankan Rice and Curry.

DAY 08

YALA


Head towards the Southern Part of the island. On the way to the city of Yala, you will visit the Buduruwagala Buddha Statue. Once in Yala, you will be taken on an exciting Jeep Safari at the Yala National Park.

MIRISSA


Drive to the neighbouring city of Mirissa. En route, you can visit the fish market as well as observe the old and mind boggling tradition of stilt fishing. Once you check in to your hotel

DAY 10

BENTOTA


Early morning Whale Watching in a Luxury Cruise to see Hump Back Whales, Killer Whales, Sharks & Dolphins.

Drive to Galle, where you will explore the Galle Dutch Fort. Your next stop will be in Bentota, which is also on the southern coastline.
