DAY 01

WILPATTU


Meet and Greet your Professional Guide at Bandaranayake International Airport (CMB) and head towards Wilpattu National Park visiting the Anawilundawa Wetland Sanctuary for beautiful natural wetland and bird sightings. Big Game Camp is where you will stay in Wilpattu.

DAY 02

WILPATTU


Experience a full day jeep safari for you to thoroughly explore and peacefully observe the wildlife of Wilpattu National Park.

DAY 03

SIGIRIYA


Head towards Sigiriya,

Get a chance to go on an oxen cart ride and experience the world from the view of a village farmer. Have a relaxing catamaran safari through a calm lake. Walk through the golden fields ripe with their harvest of paddy. Watch an enjoyable traditional cooking demonstration that teaches you the basics of Sri Lankan cuisine. Delight your taste buds with a home cooked lunch made over a wood-fire and served on fragrant lotus leaves placed over woven trays. Enjoy the life of a Sri Lankan villager, just this day.


Prepare to "GET WILD",
This three-hour safari takes you on a ride through the Minneriya National Park. Enjoy the sight of over 150 elephants congregating in one place during the famous Great Elephant Gathering, which happens in the dry season between May to October. In addition to elephants, get a chance to also see many mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians in the scrublands, forests and other areas.

DAY 04

KANDY


Early morning visit to the Sigiriya Sanctuary for bird watching.


Climb the 5th century AD rock fortress, Sigiriya, where the King Kasyapa ruled. Walk through the entrance framed by the paws of a lion that is quite appropriate for its name, ' the Lion Rock'. View the beautiful unfading murals that brought Sigiriya its fame. Climb the steep staircase to see the terraced gardens and still-working cisterns. Walk through the tunnels leading to the palace as you get a feel for times long past.


Transfer to Kandy and Experience the Cultural Dance Show,

The Kandy Cultural Show gives an opportunity to experience some of the traditions of Sri Lanka. Enjoy this hour long extravaganza as some of the most popular art forms of the island take to the stage. Get wowed by fire dancers and sword dancers. Watch the colorful Kandyan dancers take to the air to the thrumming primal beat of the drums.

DAY 05

NUWARA ELIYA


Go on a nature trail at Udawattekela Forest Reserve and then visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. After exploring beautiful flora at the gardens, you will transfer to Nuwara Eliya with beautiful backdrops and waterfall view points.

DAY 06

NUWARA ELIYA


Visit the Horton Plains National Park in the morning. This is a 9.5km nature trail which includes the view of World’s End point and also a visit to the Bakers Falls.


Visit the Strawberry Farm and have a boat ride in the Gregory Lake

DAY 07

UDAWALAWE


Transfer to Udawalawe with a stop at a Tea Estate and experience the Tea Plucking then proceed to a Tea Factory and see how Pure Ceylon Tea are prepared

DAY 08

YALA


Early morning Game Drive at Udawalawe National Park then proceed towards Yala to stay in a Luxury Tree House at Yala National Park,

Spend your night under the Camp Fire and have a great BBQ dish under the stars.

SINHARAJA


Transfer to Sinharaja Rain Forest and have a full day Trekking Tour.

DAY 10

AIRPORT


From Sinharaja, it is about a four hour drive to the Bandaranaike International Airport. Depending on the time of your flight, you will be driven to the airport on day 10.
